couplesLife-issues related to finances, children, employment, sex and other issues cause strain to a relationship, and can lead to “emotional injuries”. Therapy can help bring a couple back together, repairing the damage that these issues have caused, resulting in a closer and more fulfilling relationship.

Couples seek closeness, trust, communication, and understanding in their relationship. They want to know that their partner “has my back”, that she/he will “come to me when I call”, and “that that my partner is within reach”-knowing that your partner will be there for you. The therapeutic approach I have been trained in and use is Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFTC). This empirically validated approach helps couples attain a deeper, more fulfilling, and passionate type of relationship that you desire for, and deserve. It typically takes 12-20 sessions (1.5-2.0 hours) to complete this therapy, with sessions ideally occurring on a weekly basis until the end of therapy to build on the progress made from earlier sessions.
